Dan Kennedy is a famous marketing educator and direct marketing pioneer. In his No BS Guide For Marketing To The Affluent he goes into much detail on how affluent boomers think, what they are spending their money on, how you should sell to them and what great luxury service should look like.
Even though the book is not travel marketing specific it does have a chapter about experiences. The value here lies more with some of the direct marketing tactics and copywriting advice Dan Kennedy gives in his book. If you are looking for a good primer on direct marketing, direct mail and marketing to the affluent then definitely give this one a try, it is a great read.
