Swaggy Swan is a trendsetting luxury travel company managed by Justin Huff. With their phenomenal clients, they co-create travel experiences inclusive of private-guided sightseeing, transportation, special access, exclusive events and audiences, accommodation, and charter flights to exotic destinations worldwide.

The Challenge

Swaggy Swan Travel was built upon decades of luxury travel experience that Justin Huff brings to the table, so most of his previous sales stemmed from relationships, referrals, and outbound sales efforts within his network.

The challenge was to come up with a digital strategy that would incorporate his strengths and allow him to generate affluent leads outside of his existing network in the short-term to build up his pipeline. At the same time we also wanted to provide channels and tactics that would enable him to grow his brand awareness in the long-term too.

The Solution

By focusing on luxury safaris we were able to leverage the fact that Justin had a wide variety of African destinations in his portfolio as well as excellent local partners in his supplier network. Combined with his first hand experience from more than 25 visits to the continent we were now able to design a long-form sales landing page to showcase his luxury safari offering to a completely new audience of affluent prospects.

To drive qualified, affluent traffic to this new destination-focused landing page, we partnered with Elite Traveler magazine to leverage their website in the form of advertorials, display advertising, and sponsored email. In addition to that, we started using Facebook ads to target affluent audiences in the US based on income, interests, and geography. To emphasize the creative nature of his business, we designed a series of high-level animated creatives to draw prospects in and engage them with our advertising.

Apart from digital advertising and conversion design we also employed a stack of marketing & sales tools in the backend to enable Justin to focus completely on effective sales follow-up.

This included, among other things, web analytics, user behavior analysis, a CRM solution that fits his business, and automated email marketing nurture templates and sequences that tell engaging brand stories to educate his prospects further on each individual African destination Swaggy Swan offers.

Overall we were able to generate a number of qualified luxury safari leads for Swaggy Swan Travel (despite the global pandemic peaking at that time) which resulted in an increase in sales and pipeline for his business.

Swaggy Swan Travel now has a solid digital marketing lead generation & nurture framework which can be extended to several channels and destinations if required.
